Teder is an Israel based label for minimal and experimental electronica.

The label promotes the interaction between music and different type of art such as Dance, Video, Design and plastic art.

Ohad Fishof - Wasted CD TDR013 ‏2009

The album is based on the soundtrack created by Fishof for the unique documentary film, Wasted, by director Nurit Kedar The film is a collection of testimonies by soldiers who were positioned at the Beaufort fortress in southern Lebanon. Fishof's soundtrack functions as the glue that brings together the testimonies and dance segments; the horrifying bomb-falling routine of military life and the ceremonial silence and explosive force of the dancing men. The music, slow and accumulative, proposes a sense of claustrophobic, tense expectancy, juxtaposed with faint, processed echoes of realistic routine ?screeching and clacking of military equipment exposed to the elements; army boots crushing gravel in damp, dark bunkers; rustles of tin brushing against weapons.

War Frequencies CD TDR012 ‏2008

The War Frequencies project was launched on in the summer of 2006, following the outbreak of the war between the Hezbollah in Lebanon and Israel. The idea behind the project was to gather and present materials that were influenced by this particular war and relate to it. The initiative was publicized and soon thereafter, various pieces pertaining to other wars as well began pouring in from around the world.

TEDER is looking for any field-recording-based material, which captures the situation in the Middle East these days.
The recordings can include anything: bombs, airplanes, sirens, empty streets, demonstrations and manipulated sounds as backgrounds for music or whatever you feel like. Videos are welcomed as well.
